| August 9th and 10th, of 2003 marked the date of the 5th annual Yankee Air Museum Aircraft Display Thunder Over Michigan. The show celebrated the "100th Anniversary of Powered Air Flight", and presented one of the largest gatherings of World War Two aircraft in memory. Mike Luther, Paul Draper, Kevin Walsh and the rest of the Yankee Air Force did another superb job this year, and the event was well attended. The symposium speakers were Chuck Yeager, Bud Anderson, and Gunter Rall, which presented a very memorable evening. This year's show is August 7th and 8th, at the YAF Museum, Willow Run Airport, Belleville, MI. |
