| US Army Tank Automotive and Armaments Command (TACOM) celebrated its 70th
Anniversary during the 2012 annual Organizational Day. The event was held at the Warren
Parks and Recreation Center in Warren, Mi. near 13 ½ mile and Mound Road. Turnout by TACOM
employees and their families was great, and was highlighted by an inspection of the vehicles by
the new CG of TACOM, MG Michael J. Terry. Besides these vehicles, the display also included
several current engineering / construction and materials transport vehicles, and the event was also
augmented by a historic military vehicle display put on by the
Military Vehicle Collectors Club of Michigan.
