| In 2009, a couple of changes were made to the ground battle portion
of the show. The appearance of the Blue Angels made changes to the battle area necessary,
so it was moved from the north field to the show center flightline, just west of the old Yankee
Museum hanger. While the north bean field had its good points and offered a lot of great
cover and fighting positions, the new location, although flat and naturally featureless, did
allow a better view of the reenactments.
