| The Yankee Air Force Museum has been hosting an annual show for around 10
years now, and a concentrated effort has been made to make every year better than the last. While
a military vehicle display has been a part of every show, to the best of my recollection, the actual
battle reenactments started in 2004, and comprised of a small company of German troops in a Kubelwagen
and troop truck coming under attack from Allied forces in Jeeps and a half-track. Every year since,
the ground battle portion of the show has grown, culminating in the major productions we have come to enjoy
in the past few years.
